Education System at NAU
National Aviation University faculties are comprised of first-rate education programs in the areas of aviation, computer science, engineering, electronics, management, and mechanics. The languages of teaching at the institution are Ukrainian and Russian. It is recommended for foreign applicants who need to improve their level of English to complete education at the Preparatory Department, where they will master the language and study core disciplines necessary for future studies. The preparation period is 1 year.
NAU offers education at the following qualification levels:
- BA (duration of the program – 4-4.5 years);
- MA (duration of the program – 1-1.5 years linked to the study area).
Foreign graduates may also join the post-graduate department or Ph.D. studies if they complete the MA course and show a capability for scholarly and research work. The postgraduate education branch offers a wide scope of specializations in which foreign learners can broaden their knowledge and get higher- education diplomas. The education lasts 3 years. The languages of instruction are Ukrainian and Russian.
